Kathleen was born on December 18th, 1917.  Kathleen's father was William  A Furby and her mother was Syble I Peterson. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Richard, Kenneth, Robert, Donald, David, Truman, Nora, Gladys and Phylis.  She was the oldest of the ten children.  She died at the age of 81 in 1998.

Kathleen and Johannes (John) were married.  They had a son and two daughters, named Allen, Gertrude and Margaret.
