Yvonne Mae was born in October 1930.  Yvonne Mae's father was Albert Peppiatt and her mother was Zadah Bell Day.  Her paternal grandparents were Jesse Peppiatt and Clementine Leflin; her maternal grandparents were Ory Day and Lizy Day. She had a brother and three sisters, named Kennith Leroy, Mary Lou, Betty Jean and Joanne E. She has a half-brother and a half-sister, named Carl Lynford and Helen.
